Decorative Flake Floor Coatings in Orlando

Flake flooring is the finish most Orlando homeowners choose, and for good reason: it looks like a showroom, adds real slip resistance, and camouflages the small imperfections every concrete slab eventually develops.

After grinding and crack repair, we broadcast colored vinyl chips into the wet epoxy basecoat to refusal — meaning we keep throwing flake until the floor will not absorb another chip. The excess is scraped and vacuumed the following pass, leaving a dense, uniform bed of color rather than the thin scattered look you get from a partial broadcast.

Blends range from subtle grays and tans that read like natural stone to bold team colors and high-contrast domino patterns. Chip size changes the character too: 1/4-inch flake gives a fine, granite-like texture while 1-inch flake reads bold and architectural.

Two coats of clear polyaspartic lock the flake in and create the finished texture. We can adjust that texture with an anti-slip additive if the floor sees water, which is a smart call for Orlando garages that double as pool entrances.
